A stylish cafe bar in Northern Quarter, brought to you by the good people from taste-haven, Bakerie, next door, Pie & Ale, like its neighbour, puts a massive focus on the menu. Their awesome menu of artisan pies reads like a tasty rainbow. From Rabbit & Cider to Mouflon, Cherry & Port on the main menu to Saturday Breakfast Pie and Sunday Roast Pie on weekends. At the bar, an ever-rotating roster of local-micro brewery cask ales is on offer as well as a host of gins, whiskies and other spirits.
The decor is clean and modern, yet relaxed and cosy. Big bright windows, sleek wood panels and cool exposed bulbs make up the chic design of this bar. Seating is arranged in comfortable leather booths - each with their own plug socket for laptops - a nice touch for a venue in the bustling Northern Quarter Arcade. Upstairs you'll find a cosy mezzanine with more booths, which is also available for private hire. Tunes at Pie & Ale are an easy blend, with indie, rock, soul, funk and motown. Simple features, simple menus and a cracking bar. A buzzing spot to meet mates for a casual dinner, or a quirky date night with mega grub, Pie & Ale offers something a little different in the Northern Quarter, one delicious combo.
